The Boy from Beagle Bay

He was baptised when he was born at the Sacred Heart church at Beagle Bay. His mum and dad held him tight he was but one month old much loved and adored by all. He was small and underweight, but he grew strong with each new day. When he was three, he had his first dog a blue heeler that he was. He named him Maybe, Maybe was his friend. He had another friend a girl he knew since he was three. As he grew older and time did fly, they fell in love you see. On Christmas day they married at the Sacred Heart church Beagle Bay. He joined the army when he was twenty and went to war at twenty-five. An angel held him tightly as she stood quietly by his side. Helped him fight the pain that he felt suddenly inside. When he died an angel carried him in her arms back home to Beagle Bay church where he first come from.

The boy was born at Beagle bay, was baptised at the Church, and given a dog on Christmas day. He has a girlfriend he grows up with that he marries at a later date and all his friends and families come to watch. He goes to war to serve his country and gave his life in a foreign land. An angel held him oh so tight, and carried him throughout the night back home to Beagle Bay.

Unique place, where Beagle Bay church is listed as a tourist destination in Broome. (Broome, Cape Leveque). The church was built by German Priest, brothers and local indigenous people and officially opened in 1918 and commonly known as Mother of Pearl Church. The locals extensively used pearl and other shells to decorate the interior of the church which gives it a unique appearance not found anywhere in the world.
