Canberra Circus

$45.00$75.00 $22.50 - $37.50

Are we having fun running the country? Appears that the performers are having fun jostling at one another, picking faults perhaps,  providing ample opportunity for the public to see Canberra as a circus!! Rather than a place to be seen as an important institution conducting serious business, making good decisions for the Australians?

It was in 1927 on the 9th of May that Federal Parliament House moved to Canberra it was opened by the duke of York later to be King George VI. This served as the Federal Parliament till 1988 till the new building was built on the hill. It was a bicentennial year and to celebrate they re-enacted the eleven fleet sailing ships that first arrived in Sydney Harbour on the 26th of January 1988.It was spectacular and it was joined by 200 tall ships from 40 countries and was referred to as a parade of sail down the harbour watched by two million people. It was in 1988 on the 9th of May that the new Parliament House opened in Canberra. It was opened by Queen Elizabeth the second. This is where the decisions are debated and discussed over what is best for the country some times the debates are very heated.

Printed on quality 200gsm gloss art paper. Packaged and sent in a mailing tube to protect edges.
